Privacy policy
Effective October 5, 2026
The short version: Replacr does not collect, store, share or sell any personal data. Your audio is processed on your Mac and never leaves it.
Who we are
Replacr Studio ("Replacr", "the app") is made by Sorensen on Sound LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Replacr app for Mac and this website, replacrstudio.com.
Data the app collects
None. Replacr has no user accounts, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting service and no third party SDKs. The app does not connect to the internet to do its work, and we never receive your audio, your settings or anything about how you use it.
Your audio files
Replacr runs in the macOS App Sandbox. It can only open the files and folders you choose in the Open panel or drag into the window, and it only writes the bounce files you ask it to save, to the location you pick. All transient detection, sample triggering and rendering happens locally on your Mac.
Settings stored on your Mac
Replacr saves a few interface preferences, such as your zoom presets and whether the batch track list is showing, using the standard macOS preferences system. These stay on your Mac, are only used to restore the app the way you left it, and are removed if you delete the app and its container.
Purchases and the App Store
Replacr is sold through the Mac App Store. Apple handles all payments and downloads, and we don't receive your payment details. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized sales and download reports. Apple's handling of your information is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
This website
replacrstudio.com does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and it loads no fonts or code from third parties. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. We don't use those logs to identify you.
If you email us for support, we use your email address and whatever you include in your message only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your message with anyone.
Children
Replacr does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Replacr handles data, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
