support@replacrstudio.comIf something isn't working, include your macOS version, the Replacr version (Replacr menu, About Replacr), and the sample rate and bit depth of the files you were using. That usually gets you an answer a lot faster.
Common questions
- What file types does Replacr open?
- WAV and AIFF, for both source tracks and samples. Bounces are written as WAV at 16 bit, 24 bit or 32 bit float.
- My sample is a different sample rate than my tracks. Is that a problem?
- No. Replacr converts the sample to match the source track's sample rate automatically.
- Is Replacr a plugin?
- No, it's a standalone Mac app. You bounce a replaced WAV and import it into Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper or any other DAW. The bounce starts at zero and is the same length as the source, so it lines up when you place it at the start of the session.
- It's triggering on bleed from other drums.
- Raise the threshold until the bleed sits under the red line, then raise the holdout if a single hit is firing twice. Tab through the markers to check each hit before you bounce.
- Replacements feel slightly early or late.
- Use the Offset control to nudge every hit up to 20 ms either way. If the timing drifts per hit, try a shorter peak window.
- Can I process several tracks with the same settings?
- Yes. Show the batch track list, add your tracks, check the ones you want and use Batch Bounce Checked Tracks from the File menu.
- What do I need to run it?
- A Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
- Does Replacr collect any data?
- No. Everything stays on your Mac. See the privacy policy.
